HOSTING A COURSE

GL Corbitt Training and Consulting, LLC provides high-quality, scientifically-based, evidence-based, and comprehensive course instruction. If your agency is interested in hosting a course, please see the following:

 

*The host agency agrees to provide a classroom or auditorium large enough to hold 15 or more people at no cost to the GL Corbitt Training and Consulting, LLC. The facility must have desks or tables, with seats, so each participant may safely and comfortably take notes in their student participant guide.

 

​*The host agency agrees to provide a digital video projector (DVP) with audio capability or its equivalent that will project PowerPoint® slides, photographs, digital video, and sound.

 

*The host agency agrees to provide adequate practical training locations if the course involves practical exercises and/or performance exams. This locations would be course dependent.

 

*The host agency agrees to assist the GL Corbitt Training and Consulting, LLC.  in the promotion of the course(s).

 

*The host agency agrees to provide at least 3 dates to the GL Corbitt Training and Consulting, LLC. so that a mutual course date(s) can be selected. The selected date(s) must be at least 90 days / 3 months forward to permit reasonable promotion of the program(s) (180 days / 6 months suggested). This does not apply to agency-specific contract programs.

 

*The host agency will receive a maximum number of five (5) tuition-free seats depending upon the number of paid attendees. (see below for more information).

 

*There is a minimum of 12 paid registrations for the GL Corbitt Training and Consulting, LLC.  to send an instructor(s) to the training location. If 12 paid registrations are not made before the registration deadline, GL Corbitt Training and Consulting, LLC. will contact the host agency to reschedule. Contacting the registered attendees to inform them of the reschedule will also occur by GL Corbitt Training and Consulting, LLC.


 

*If you are interested in POST certification please be advised the host agency is responsible to obtain this for their program. We help by providing information POST requires for you to obtain this. Please let us know what is needed as each state is different.

  • 12-15 paid seats = 1 total free seats for host

  • 16-20 paid seats = 2 total free seats for host

  • 21-25 paid seats = 3 total free seats for host

  • 25-30 paid seats = 4 total free seats for host

 

GL Corbitt Training and Consulting, LLC. will collect all tuition and registrations.
